FAQ

What is printable wall art?

Printable wall art is digital artwork that you download and print yourself.
You get high-resolution files (300 dpi) after purchase - no physical posters are shipped.
That means no waiting, no shipping fees, and full control over how and where you print it.

How does it work?

  1. Pick your art and complete your purchase.
  2. Download your files - a link will be sent instantly.
  3. Print your art - at home, at a local print shop, or through an online service.
  4. Frame it and hang it - done!

What file sizes are included?

Maple Printables prints are provided as aspect ratio files to ensure your print will always look right. No cropping & no stretching - just a perfect fit for your frame. And a printing guide and ratios guide are included in your download.

An aspect ratio is the relationship between a print’s width and height. Think of it as the ‘shape’ of your artwork. For example, a square (1:1) has equal width and height, while a rectangle like 8x10 inches has a 4:5 aspect ratio.

To ensure you have all the sizes you could need, every print comes in 8 files covering these aspect ratios and sizes:

Where can I print my artwork?

You can print it anywhere you’d like - at home, at a local print shop, or through an online service.

A printing guide is included in your download for more details, but here are a few print shops you can look into:
I use and recommend Printful because they ship worldwide and print locally (or as close as possible) for a super quick delivery.
You can also check out Blacks or Shoppers Photo in Canada, Staples or Walmart in the US, Boots Photo or Snapfish in the UK, etc.

What kind of paper should I use?

I generally recommend using thick matte paper or heavy card stock (around 189gsm or more). You can also print on canvas or have some fun with it and print on coloured paper. I would just avoid standard printer paper if you can.

What about frames?

You’ve got plenty of options: Ikea, Michaels, DeSerres, thrift stores, online shops, etc.
You can also get creative with hanging clips, poster rails or floating frames.

I’m not tech-savvy. Is this complicated?

Not at all! If you can click a download link and print a photo, you’ll be fine!
But if anything’s unclear, I’m here to help - just send me a message!

Can I use these files for commercial purposes?

Nope - all files are for personal use only. That means no reselling, editing, or using them for products.
If you’re looking for commercial licensing, message me and we can chat.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Because of the nature of digital downloads, all sales are final.
That being said, please let me know if you have any technical issues and I'll work with you to ensure you're happy with your order!
